I had a decent stay at the Dolamanco, which is a good option if you're looking to save a bit while still enjoying some comforts. The rooms are reasonably comfortable with a lovely view of Daan Park, but some amenities could use an upgrade. The location is convenient and getting around Taipei is easy from here. Unfortunately, the dining experience left a bit to be desired, and some room issues were a letdown.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, it's situated conveniently near Daan Park and MRT, offering easy access to various amenities and a peaceful park view. On the other hand, the hotel itself is showing its age and needs a renovation, especially the rooms and breakfast service, which left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a decent budget option, but don't expect anything luxurious.
